WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
Last Updated: November 29, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and StereoForest operating as StereoForest Studio (“StereoForest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the website located at https://stereoforest.com (the “Site”), listening to our audio productions (including “Originals” and “The Solo Podcasting Handbook”), or accessing any content made available through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must strictly stop using the Site and its content immediately.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StereoForest and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
A. “Originals” and “The Handbook”
StereoForest produces original audio and video content, including but not limited to “Grack Public Access,” “Your Improv Brain,” and “Solo Podcasting Handbook” (collectively, the “Studio Content”).
- Ownership: All Studio Content remains the exclusive property of StereoForest.
- Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access, listen to, and view the Studio Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
- Prohibitions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any Studio Content for any other purposes without the prior written consent of StereoForest. This specifically includes a prohibition on re-uploading our audio files to other platforms or using our scripts for AI training purposes.
B. Copyright
The StereoForest logo, writing, and podcast content is copyright of StereoForest. You may not use these assets or any likeness that refers to StereoForest or Jen deHaan in connection with any third party product or service without the prior written consent of StereoForest.
3. Services and Engagement
StereoForest operates as a commercial podcast production studio. The following terms apply to our services:
A. Informational Purposes Only
The descriptions of services, production packages, and pricing listed on the Site are for informational purposes and constitute an “invitation to treat,” not a binding offer to sell.
B. Separate Service Agreement
No client-agency relationship is formed merely by your use of this Site or by submitting an inquiry form. A binding agreement for production services is only formed when both parties sign a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW).
C. Pricing and Billing
- Estimates: Prices displayed on the Site are starting estimates and are subject to change without notice.
- Billing: We do not process payments directly through this Site. All commercial engagements are billed via separate invoice (e.g., Stripe, QuickBooks, or bank transfer) in accordance with the terms of the specific MSA signed by the client.
4. No Professional Advice
The content provided in StereoForest’s “Solo Podcasting Handbook” and other podcasts, blog posts, or resources on this site is for educational and informational purposes only. While we draw on our professional experience in audio production and media strategy:
- We do not guarantee specific business results (e.g., download numbers, revenue growth, or “authority” status).
- Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, or professional business advice. You are solely responsible for your use of the educational information provided.
5. User Conduct
By using the Site, you agree NOT to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, provincial, local, or international law or regulation.
- Engage in any “scraping,” “data mining,” or use of automated systems (robots, spiders, etc.) to access the Site or extract Studio Content.
- Impersonate StereoForest, a StereoForest employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
- Submit false or misleading information through our contact or waitlist forms.
6. Third-Party Links and Platforms
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by StereoForest (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, LinkedIn).
StereoForest has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that StereoForest shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. StereoForest makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Site.
To the full extent permissible by applicable law, StereoForest disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the laws of British Columbia), in no event shall StereoForest, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Site;
